Do you have to be a member to attend Party of
Six dinners & activities?
Yes. We are a members only business for busy professionals. We
have 4 membership packages to choose from. When you come in for your
free consultation, a Party of Six consultant will help you choose the
membership package that’s right for you.
How much is membership and what are the
benefits?
Our membership prices are more affordable than the typical
introduction & match making services in Hawaii, plus we offer a lot
more. You’ll have the added benefits of exciting weekly activities,
group dinners, workshops, personal and relationship coaching, makeover
services, parties, and travel packages. Each time you attend a Party
of Six dinner, your chances of meeting the right one are 3 times as
likely. Attending our monthly group activities increases that even
more. Most busy professionals don’t have time to plan their social
calendar and we take care of that. All you have to do is check the
calendar and give us a call. Making new friends and business
networking are another bonus. You also receive discounts at our
participating restaurants and other local businesses.
Will my membership be confidential?
Yes. All membership information is held in the strictest of
confidence.
How will I know when I’ve been matched?
A Party of Six consultant will call you when you’ve been matched
or scheduled for a dinner.
Is the cost of dinner included with membership?
No. The cost of dinner is not included with membership, however
some of our restaurants graciously include a round of appetizers,
dessert, or a 15% discount off of the bill for choosing them for your
Party of Six evening.
What type of restaurants do you dine at?
We have chosen a variety of Honolulu’s most popular and latest
restaurants. We also keep track of the newest hot spots so you can be
among the first to check them out. Most are winners of the Hale Aina
awards and other prestigous local awards. They are moderately priced
to high end. We feature every possible type of cuisine.
What should I expect when I arrive at the
restaurant for a Party of Six dinner date?
A Party of Six dinner host will meet your group at the restaurant.
The host will make introductions, seat you, and make sure everyone is
comfortable before leaving your party to themselves to enjoy a
wonderful evening of socializing and fun.
How are the checks arranged at the end of the
evening?
Each person is presented with his or her own check at the end of
the evening. This avoids confusion and makes it simple for everyone.
Are there always 6 people at the dinners?
We try our best to guarantee a Party of Six, however unforeseen
circumstances can occasionally change that. If someone cancels, we
will reschedule their dinner and keep the group in even numbers. You
may choose a Party of Two dinner at any time during your membership.
What if would like to get further acquainted
with someone in the group but don’t have a way to contact them?
Let us know. After each dinner, you’re asked to fill out the after
date form where you can tell us about your evening. We will notify
that person in your behalf to see if it’s mutual.
We recommend you bring
several business cards along to hand out at your dinners.
What if I’d just like to go on dates one on one?
Personalized matchmaking is a big part of our service. Many of
our members prefer one on one matching. If you are looking for
privacy or feel uncomfortable in a group setting, we recommend this
option for you.
How much information is my date given before our
introduction?
Your date is given your first name, your occupation, and the
reasons why we feel you fit the profile they requested on their
questionnaire when they joined.
What is the membership ratio of men to women?
The ratio is generally 50/50, but membership does occasionally
fluctuate.
Will you see some of the same people at the
group dinners and activities?
You may occasionally see a repeat person in the group but our goal
is to introduce you to as many different members as possible.
What types of activities does Party of Six have?
Our well-planned activities are for every interest and fitness
level, from laid-back fun to extreme sports. Many of our event ideas
come from our members so there’s something for everyone. We also plan
out of state and neighbor island trips from time to time.
How many activities & dinners are planned per
month?
We have 2 to 3 dinners or activities a week.
How do I know what activities are coming up?
Go to the members only calendar page on our website and choose the
activities you’d like to attend. Click on the event and the details
will be shown. We request that you email or call us and reserve your
space several days in advance.
Are there any extra costs involved for the
activities?
The activity planning cost is included in the membership, but not
extra fees such as rental charges, cover charges, and food & beverage
cost or parking. You will be informed ahead of time on the calendar,
or when you call to reserve your space. Extra charges are minimal.
What if I’d like to attend only the activities
and not the group dinners?
It’s all up to you. We have an activities only package for those
who prefer the group adventures without the match making.

offices hours are Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on

Is there a discount when I renew my membership?
Yes, when you renew your membership, we will be happy to give you
a discount depending on the package.
Are there any bonuses for referring a friend?
Yes! If you tell a friend about Party of Six and they join our
family of quality singles, we will extend your membership for 1 extra
match, or 2 extra months on the activities only membership. |
