Party of Six was founded by Dee Dee DeSoto, former radio personality, event planner, published writer and vocalist. Ms.DeSoto formerly owned and operated Kindred Hearts Activities and Adventures, a successful singles activity service, for 5 years starting in 1998. Feeling the need to feed her adventurous side, Dee Dee started a small tour company, Adventures Extreme Hawaii in 2001. It lasted for 2 years and the match making bug took over once again. She merged the 2 company concepts into a unique service for singles and Party of Six was formed in 2003. Her extreme sports activities were the inspiration of her first few event calendars and that’s when cupid struck the dating diva herself. She met her husband Michael on her first Party of Six parasailing event while hosting the group. They’re just one of many happy couples who have tied the knot through Party of Six. It’s the most fun and unique way to meet quality singles that share common interests.

Who are our members?
Our membership includes people from ages 21 and up. 98% of our members are college graduates, working in a professional field. We have a mixed plate of ethnicities, much like the beautiful state of Hawaii.

Party of Six Packages – How it Works
As a Party of Six member, you can choose to meet your matches privately or in a group setting. We match according to the information you provide on your questionnaire form and interview when you join.

PO6 Dinner Dates
At your Party of Six Dinner, 5 other people with common interest and background will join you, making for a compatible “Party of Six”. When you first arrive at the restaurant, a Party of Six host will great you at the front door, show you to your seat, and make introductions. When the appetizers arrive, the host leaves the group alone to settle in for their wonderful evening of socializing and dining.

Your dinner cost is not included with your Party of Six membership, however many of our restaurant partners include an appetizer platter or dessert for the group.

At the end of the evening, each member will be provided with his or her own check to avoid any confusion or the hassle of separating and figuring out the bill.

One on one Matching
Our personalized matching system is simple; after you’re matched, we notify you with match details, check your schedule and then set up your date, time and place. All you do is show up and enjoy yourself.

When your evening has ended, the last step is to fill out the “date review form”. This is how we know how your evening went and if you and your match want to meet again. This helps us fine tune any future matches as well. The date review form can be filled out on our website by clicking on “date review” and entering your user name and password. It takes no more than 3 minutes to fill out and submit.

Activities
As a Party of Six member you’ll be given a user name and password to view the event calendar. Just take a look and click on any event you choose. A full description will come up complete with time, location, and a summary of what to expect from start to finish. Venue websites are provided so that you can view maps, menus, photos, or any other information needed to make your decision to attend. Then just email us with your request to attend. We do all the planning and you have all the fun. Activities are held weekly and we guarantee your social life will be enhanced.
